张亚武，字白云江梅，生于1949年12月，甘肃天水人，现居西安市。1985年毕业于著名国画大师刘海粟书画研究生，现任中国书画函授大学教授、中国西北书画艺术研究院常务副院长、国家人事部人才研究中心特邀研究员、香港世界著名艺术家联合会国际委员、世界书画家协会副主席、中国世纪大采风书画院艺术顾问、中华卫视《艺术风采》栏目艺术总监等。2013年张亚武、欧阳中石、沈鹏、李铎被文化部审定为“艺术大师——艺坛四杰”。2024年被法国卢浮宫博物馆诚聘为“中国首席艺术顾问兼客座教授”。
2019年建国七十周年，中央电视台对其进行专访，制作了《著名书画艺术家张亚武翰墨人生》专栏。其作品曾在中国和世界大赛中多次获奖、收藏、碑刻、发表和入典，并展存于美国、日本、英国、法国等一百多个国家和地区，多次进行艺术交流，受到了国际社会认可和赞誉。作品收藏于文化部和中国美术馆，被中国文联评审为“国家一级作品”，荣获国家新长城文化艺术奖、国家文化艺术奖和世界华人艺术金奖、2024年特邀参加法国巴黎奥运会文化艺术交流展，书法作品《龙腾奥运》和《虎跃巴黎》荣获奥林匹克文化贡献奖和优秀杰出金奖。纪念抗日战争60周年作品《卢沟晓月》获一等奖;榜书《神州有青天》曾获1999年昆明世博会金奖并永久收藏;应毛泽东“与时并进”而为陕西白云山题词并碑刻“神山有灵”;受邀参加中国石油大学校庆50周年并题词“风雨兼程五十春，栽培油军十万神”。
代表作品由启功大师署名汇编为《张亚武书画作品集》，专著有《文化艺术赏评》、《社会与人生》、《中国当代艺术名家》、2019年发行《CCTV传承经典 艺术大师张亚武教授书画精选集》、艺术瑰宝文化盛典及第十四届全运会专属藏品《建党100周年中国书画陕西卷》、2023年应时代发展，经中国文联、文化部策划和审定出版了《百年书画名家典范》首版作品并兼艺术顾问、2024年特邀作品入编国家三部委(文旅部·中宣部·外交部)审出的《中国书画百年史·百位名家》大型经典集锦(作为国礼作品)等。
作为与共和国同龄的张亚武教授，在生命的年轮里，见证了共和国成长的印记。他从事艺术事业六十余年，在创作的过程中始终坚持优良传统、水平取胜和人品第一的艺术风格。他的作品严格讲究形、意、神、情、趣，展现了艺术的最高境界——真、善、美。其作品铁画银钩、行云流水，有强烈生命活力，反映了时代心声。长期以来张亚武教授建树颇多，硕果累累，畅展世界。其作品具有历史性价值、学术性研究价值和珍藏价值，他的人品和书品将永远是中国和世界文化艺术宝库中的一颗璀璨明珠。
在艺术生涯中，曾获“中国当代艺术家名人”、“新长城艺术家”、“世界当代书画艺术家名人”、“世界名人”、中国大采风20周年大庆典“中国当代人民艺术家”、“建国70周年人民功勋艺术家”、2021年官方纪念建党100周年德艺双馨“人民艺术家”、“中国文化人物”、2023年文化和旅游部、中央电视台等文化部门授予“时代楷模人民艺术家”等荣誉称号。其个人艺术传略和书画作品入典入集30余部，其中代表作品和艺术传略珍藏于联合国教科文组织。

Zhang Yawu, also known as Baiyun Jiangmei, was born in December 1949 in Tianshui, Gansu Province. He currently resides in Xi'an City. Graduated from the renowned Chinese painting master Liu Haisu in 1985 with a master's degree in calligraphy and painting, currently serving as a professor at China Correspondence University of Calligraphy and Painting, Executive Vice President of Northwest China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting Art, invited researcher at the Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Personnel, International Committee Member of the Hong Kong Federation of World Famous Artists, Vice Chairman of the World Calligraphers and Painters Association, Art Consultant of China Century University Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and Art Director of the "Art Style" program on China TV. In 2013, Zhang Yawu, Ouyang Zhongshi, Shen Peng, and Li Duo were recognized by the Ministry of Culture as "Art Masters - Four Heroes of the Art World". In 2024, he was hired by the Louvre Museum in France as the "Chief Art Advisor and Visiting Professor of China".
In 2019, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, CCTV conducted an exclusive interview with him and produced a special column titled "The Life of Famous Calligraphy and Painting Artist Zhang Yawu and Han Mo". His works have won numerous awards, collections, inscriptions, publications, and entries in Chinese and international competitions, and have been exhibited in over 100 countries and regions including the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, and France. He has also undergone numerous artistic exchanges and has been recognized and praised by the international community. The works are collected by the Ministry of Culture and the National Art Museum of China, and have been evaluated as "National First Class Works" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. They have won the National New Great Wall Culture and Art Award, the National Culture and Art Award, and the World Chinese Art Gold Award. In 2024, they were invited to participate in the cultural and artistic exchange exhibition of the Paris Olympics in France. The calligraphy works "Dragon Soaring in the Olympics" and "Tiger Leaping in Paris" won the Olympic Cultural Contribution Award and the Outstanding Gold Award. The work "Lugou Xiaoyue" commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Anti Japanese War won the first prize; The book "Blue Sky in China" won the gold medal at the 1999 Kunming World Expo and has been permanently collected; In response to Mao Zedong's "keeping pace with the times", an inscription was made on Baiyun Mountain in Shaanxi Province, with the inscription "The sacred mountain has spirit"; Invited to participate in the 50th anniversary celebration of China University of Petroleum and inscribed with the words' Fifty springs of wind and rain, cultivating a hundred thousand oil army gods'.
Representative works were compiled under the signature of Master Qigong as the "Collection of Zhang Yawu's Calligraphy and Painting Works". Monographs include "Cultural and Art Appreciation", "Society and Life", "Chinese Contemporary Art Masters", "Selected Calligraphy and Painting Works of Professor Zhang Yawu, a Classic Art Master Inherited by CCTV" released in 2019, "Shaanxi Volume of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting on the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China" exclusive collection for the 14th National Games, and "One Hundred Years of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Masters" planned and approved by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Ministry of Culture in response to the development of the times in 2023. The first edition of the work "One Hundred Years of Calligraphy and Painting Masters" was also published as an art consultant. In 2024, the specially invited work was included in the "One Hundred Years of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting History" approved by three national ministries (the Ministry of Famous Masters "large-scale classic collection (as a national gift work), etc.
As Professor Zhang Yawu, who is of the same age as the Republic, he has witnessed the imprint of the Republic's growth in the years of life. He has been engaged in the art industry for more than 60 years, and has always adhered to the artistic style of excellent tradition, winning level, and prioritizing character in the process of creation. His works strictly emphasize form, meaning, spirit, emotion, and interest, showcasing the highest realm of art - truth, goodness, and beauty. His works, with iron paintings and silver hooks, flowing clouds and water, have a strong vitality and reflect the voice of the times. Professor Zhang Yawu has made many achievements over the years, with fruitful results and a global presence. His works have historical value, academic research value, and collection value. In his artistic career, he has been awarded honorary titles such as "Chinese Contemporary Artist Celebrity", "New Great Wall Artist", "World Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Artist Celebrity", "World Celebrity", "Chinese Contemporary People's Artist" at the 20th anniversary celebration of China's Great Cultural Revolution, "People's Meritorious Artist of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China", "People's Artist of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China" in 2021, "Chinese Cultural Figure", and "Model People's Artist of the Times" by cultural departments such as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and CCTV in 2023. His personal art biography and calligraphy and painting works have been included in more than 30 collections, among which representative works and art biographies are collected by UNESCO.
Professor Zhang Yawu's excellent works have been eagerly broadcasted and reported by national media units such as CCTV, Phoenix TV, China TV, Hainan TV, and Shaanxi TV.
